Online Journals and Databases
The Online Journals and Databases tool provides access to electronic journals and literature databases (aka literature indexes and abstracts) available from the Library.
Easy Search is a search and discovery tool that allows you to search a variety of article, book, and Web sites simultaneously. There are a number of subject-specific categories you can limit your search to, including one for Arts & Humanities Articles, and more. Selecting the Books category searches the Library Online Catalog, the I-Share catalog for state academic libraries, Google Books, Microsoft Live Books, and Amazon Books. Online Library Catalogs
contains records for most every item available through the University Library system of our nearly 30 libraries on campus. Use the Online Library Catalog for accessing course reserves. is a library catalog that provides information about the collections of over 91 Illinois academic and research libraries. Participating libraries are collectively referred to as the I‑Share libraries. More than 38.1 million library items represented in the I‑Share catalog.I‑Share libraries make their collections available to individuals (such as students, faculty and staff) who have current valid affiliations with any I‑Share institution.
UIC CAT (Library of the Health Sciences--Urbana)
The Library of the Health Sciences-Urbana serves the UIC Colleges of Medicine and Nursing at Urbana. The medical collection is available to UIC medical students only and can be found at the Carle Forum in the Masley Resource Center, 611 W Park St, Urbana. The nursing collection can be found on the second floor (west) at 470 Grainger Engineering Library Information Center, 1301 W.
