Egyptologists used multimethod digitization to map the layout, architectural features, and inscription within the tomb of Pharaoh Seti I.
Virtually unrolling fragile papyrii
Scientists used multiple scanning methods to virtually unroll a damaged roll of papyrus in order to read its contents without physically manipulating it.
