Scholarly Commons in the Main Library offers many items for check-out on a 10 day limit. Patrons can only check out 1 item per category to allow for others to have an opportunity to check available items out. In other words, you can check out 1 camera, 1 microphone, 1 tripod, 1 projector, 1 calculator, etc. You would not be allowed to check out 2 cameras, 2 tripods, 2 microphones, etc.  

In order to check out items:

• Items must be booked in advance.
• Items must be returned to the Scholarly Commons (Room 306).
• If you return the items to a different library, you may be charged late and/or lost/damaged fees.
• To check out more items, patrons must wait 72 hours to check out more items upon returning items. 

Upon return, items are not removed immediately from your account as the items must go through a cleaning/review process to check for missing pieces. If an item is discovered to have missing pieces, the patron will be contacted. If the missing piece is unable to be recovered, the patron account will be referred to the billing department.
