The Undergraduate Library has equipment, ranging from Nikon DSLR and Lumix Mirrorless cameras to more professional level gear (available in Pro-Gear Rental) like BlackMagic cameras.
The Undergraduate Library has both the smaller, self-use Audio studio and a larger Audio booth for a myriad of recording needs, such as recording dialogue for post production, also known as ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement), podcasts, music, etc.
Additionally, there are two video studios for filming with green screens, the self-use Video Booth and the Video Production Studio. The Video Production studio does require additional training.
Furthermore, Pro-Gear Rental, as stated, offers professional film equipment for a small, daily fee. With the exception of Pro-Gear rental, the studio spaces and non Pro-Gear equipment are free to use to all University of Illinois students, staff, and faculty.
