Is Doc Express still operational?
Yes, although you are advised to use Doc Express only for items that are in Main Stacks or Oak Street. For items in departmental libraries, you should contact that particular library. For scans from any items in the Classics Library Collection, please contact the Classics librarian directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can you scan entire books?
Yes. The University Library is dramatically scaling up its digitization program because of the pandemic. If you want to request that a book in our print collection be scanned in its entirety, whether for your research or for classes, please contact the Classics librarian, and we will get the item into the digitization queue.
I want to include PDFs of materials in Compass for my classes. What should I do?
Contact the Classics librarian for a consultation. We can direct you to the best option (digitization of a complete title, Doc Express for chapters or excerpts, or in-house scanning in the Classics Library Collection).
