Welcome to the guide

Welcome to the Research Guide to Peru. The purpose of this guide is to provide access to the vernacular-language resources that are available to students, staff, faculty, and visiting scholars at the University of Illinois. Although the main focus of the guide is on print bibliographic resources, users can find other formats. The resources cover different subject areas, but mostly focus on the humanities and arts.

The databases are just a sample of the choices that the university community has access to. Another option would be catalogs and online resources for those who do not have access to the UIUC databases. It is our hope that this guide at this guide serves as a basic tool for researching Peru.
