Library Session Goals

After the library orientation session and independent review of this guide, students in Anthropology 515IA will be able to:

 

1. Find information about data management best practices, and use the DMPTool to create a data management plan for a grant funding proposal.

2. Identify and define types of scholarly anthropological research literature and research output (data).

3. Navigate library webpages to locate scholarly literature through library database and catalog searches, anthropology-specific resources, and to find library services for research support.

4. Choose a citation management tool (Mendeley/Zotero) to organize and store citations, and create bibliographies.
