Veterans' Resources: Using the Library

This guide provides links to resources aimed at veterans and servicemembers of the Champaign-Urbana community.

Veterans Resources in the Library

Resources that may be of particular interest to veterans are located in the Government Documents Collection, the Social Sciences, Health, and Education Library, and the University Archives.

To find government publications on veterans, a guide to the classification system for government documents (called SuDoc) is available from the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) and is called the List of Classes.

SSHEL is home to a variety of collections relating to veterans. Political science, arms control, psychology, and public health are just a few of the subjects that can be found in the SSHEL collection.

In the archives, you can find historical university correspondence, personal papers, photos, and more.
