Requesting items from the catalog and returning them to the library

Books and journals can be requested from the University Library or I-Share Catalogs. You can have materials delivered to your campus mail address, or pick them up at a University Library desk. Items must be returned to a library desk or book drop.

Campus Mail Delivery Available for faculty, staff, and graduate students with campus mail addresses. Choose "UIUC CAMPUS MAIL" as the pickup location when requesting books.

I-Share Libraries There are I-Share locations throughout the state, and UI and IShare materials can be returned to any I-Share Library desk. If you live or work outside the C-U area, an I-Share location may be a convenient option. See the I-Share Libraries map to find a location.
