In an effort to offset challenges that are still present as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the Slavic Reference Service (SRS) at UIUC will continue to offer expanded virtual services to support remote scholars affiliated with the Summer Research Laboratory (SRL) programs. Core virtual services provided include: 

• Personalized Bibliographic Sessions via Zoom - These scheduled sessions cover relevant vernacular language sources, collections, research methodologies, and search strategies. SRS reference specialists will address any follow-up requests through email (srscite@library.illinois.edu) or through our virtual office hours. Follow-up consultations will be available after the SRL has ended. Pending future updates, requests for personalized bibliographic sessions can be made at the 2021 Virtual Summer Research Laboratory Bibliographic Session Request Form. 
• SRS Duplication Request Service - In order to address the ongoing need amongst remote scholars to connect with print sources digitally, the SRS staff will assist with duplication request for short articles and entries from consultative sources. Duplication requests are currently restricted to 20 pages and dependent on access to print materials held at the UIUC Library. The SRS staff will not be able to fulfill duplication requests for materials not held at the library, but we will be glad to help you identify institutions that hold the materials you need. These materials will have to be ordered though your home institution's interlibrary loan department. Submit a duplication request through the SRS Duplication Request Form.
