UP 205 Ecology and its Applications, Spring 2011: Introduction

How to find scientific literature to address ecological questions you have identified for your course paper assignment.

Introduction

Welcome!  This LibGuide is a supplemental resource to the UP 205 Ecology and its Applications course Library session and paper assignment.  It contains links to Library resources and information that are useful for the preparation of the class paper assignment.

The session  presented a virtual tour of the Library Gateway, Funk ACES Library, and City Planning & Landscape Architecture Reference & Resources Center websites.  Various resources and support were introduced, including ones required for the class paper assignment.  The required literature databases were explored in more depth, with a specific ecological planning problem investigated as an example.

Here is the PowerPoint used for this session -- Searching for scientific articles to analyze for an ecological planning problem
