Overview of Guide

This guide provides information for students IS 502. It focuses on finding information related to legal, social, and policy issues in IS.

Use the following sections of this guide as you pursue your research:

  1. Use News Sources and IS and Other Organizations to identify key current topics and debates, and stay up to date on recent developments.
  2. Search for research and trade journal articles and books relevant to your topic.
  3. Find Law and Legislative Information, including administrative, legislative, and case (judicial) law.
  4. Use services that allow you to set alerts when new news or research articles appear about your topic,
  5. Use guides and tools to cite sources appropriately.
